  1. How did you get moving this week?
This week I took it easy and just stayed with the same workout and number of reps as last week instead of increasing them like I had been doing. My poor old joints just can’t keep up!

What was your go-to healthy food item or meal?
This week I gave up the raw heavy cream in my coffee to try to lose that little belly I gained from Christmas cookies (my bane!). I quit doing intermittent fasting during the day and started bringing a small lunch of leftovers like the last of the roast and its broth, the last cup of chicken soup, etc. I haven’t noticed any difference from giving up cream though, except that I have become really manic. I think my brain needs the extra fat. I’m going to stay manic through the weekend because I have a ton of stuff to do :)

What are your plans for next week?
Next week I’m going back to the raw cream in my coffee and I’m also going back to eating resistant starch in the form of rice and lentils (with ham, cooked in bone broth). I’m trying to switch on and off ketosis and carbs to try to attain or maintain metabolic flexibility. I will continue to work out the same as the last two weeks.

-Went to the gym 3 days this week.

What was your go-to healthy food item or meal?
-Vanilla Chai Tea Protein drink….very good!

    What song got you moving?
    -Feel This Moment by Pitbull

What are your plans for next week?
-Well, I am taking a P.E. course (called Strength & Tone) and the trail running club’s first official practice is on Monday and since I’m captain, I’m planning a lot more long distance running. So, I guess just going to the gym more and running more.
