I am privy to an amazing meatloaf recipe, it was handed down to me from my mother-in-law and it makes amazing meatballs too. You should probably double it because it disappears quickly! Both my kids and my husband love this. It’s not the healthiest because of the brown sugar, but you can make some on the side without that if you’d like.
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 Tbsp dried onion flakes
1 Tbsp ketchup
1/2 cup oatmeal
2 Tbsp milk
Mix well, form a loaf or meatballs and put on pan
1/2 cup Ketchup
3 Tbsp mustard
1/3 cup brown sugar
Mix well and pour on top of the meat
Bake at 350 for 45 minutes to 1 hr, only 30 minutes if they are meatballs, drain the grease off carefully and serve! Good with green beans, mashed potatoes or mashed cauliflower and apple crisp.
